Product insight, for product and quality teams

Know where customers get stuck. Before the tickets pile up.

Glassleaf already answers your customers from your manual. Every question they ask, every step they abandon and every “this didn’t work” becomes a weekly signal for your product and quality teams.

Included from Launch · Counts what customers ask, never guesses why

A theme in Glassleaf, with its related guide. Firmware 2.3 is a product event Aldous entered. Sample brand, sample data.

Every question,
counted for you.

Nobody tags tickets or reads transcripts. Glassleaf groups what customers ask into themes for each product, and dates every change.

01 · Themes

What customers ask, grouped.

Similar questions become themes, named for you. Rename or merge them, follow the ones you own, and see a new question the day it appears. Spikes are marked against your releases and product events.

02 · Guide drop-off

The step where they give up.

For every guide, how many people reach each step, and how many tapped “This step didn’t work”.

03 · Unanswered questions

What your manual doesn’t say yet.

Questions the manual can’t answer, with the closest page. Draft an FAQ puts a draft in your review queue, or Leaf, the agent, drafts it for you.

04 · Leaf, the agent

It drafts the fix. Your team decides.

Every Monday, on every plan. Any day, ask it with @leaf.

  1. AgentPicks the groups of 10 or more unanswered questions, most asked first.
  2. AgentSearches your manuals, reads the pages and checks the FAQs you already have.
  3. AgentDrafts an FAQ from the cited pages, or notes what your manual doesn’t cover. Every step is in its log.
  4. TeamEdits, approves or rejects it in Review and publishes the release. Safety text never passes through the agent.
  5. AgentA week later, counts the unanswered questions like it before and since. Counts, not causes.

An example · Brio 2 and Firmware 2.3, sample data

Flagged the day
after it shipped.

Aldous shipped Firmware 2.3 for the Brio 2 on Sep 30. Here is what Glassleaf counted over the next four weeks, and who saw it.

Descaling questions per day · Brio 2Sep 23 – Nov 2 · Sample data
050Sep 23Nov 22.32.3.1

Firmware 2.3 and 2.3.1 are product events. The shaded band is the normal weekly range.

  1. Firmware 2.3 shipsAldous adds it as a product event. It’s marked on every Brio 2 chart.
  2. Spike flaggedDescaling questions jump to about 54 a day, from about 31. A new one leads: the descale light stays on.
  3. Shared with Kai MorenoSupport shares the theme with the firmware lead: counts, redacted questions and the step 7 drop.
  4. Firmware 2.3.1 shipsAdded as a product event, on the same charts.
  5. Back to the prior rangeAbout 31 descaling questions a day again. Glassleaf reports the count, not the reason.

Glassleaf showed when, how many and where people stopped. Why stayed with the Aldous firmware team.

Counts, not causes.
Questions, not people.

Insights shows what customers asked and where they stopped. It doesn’t guess why, and your team never sees who asked.

  • It counts. It doesn’t explain.

“Descaling questions ▲41% since Firmware 2.3” is a count. Finding the cause is your team’s job, and nothing in Glassleaf claims one.

  • Only people who used the widget

Customers who never opened it aren’t counted, and every Insights page says so.

  • Nothing from a handful

A theme or a spike appears only after at least 10 questions, so a few messages can’t raise an alarm.

  • Themes your team can correct

Glassleaf names each theme. Your team can rename or merge any of them.

Privacy

Redacted before anyone reads it.

As your team sees them

“did the descale twice, light won’t go off, serial Removed: [serial number]”

“my wife Removed: [name] says the light means it’s broken?”
